Yes, this is another GI book, and yes, it does tell you everything
you need to know about sticking to a glycaemic index diet, plus it
gives you tables for which foods are good, bad or just ok based on
their GI value.
But what makes this book special from all the other GI books, is
the recipes.
There are loads of them for a start (108 for those who like to be
precise), and many are recipes that you might normally cook, just
adapted to create a lower GI value.
You don’t have to be a chef to make the recipes, or live next to
an exotic grocery store to find the ingredients, and you definitely
don’t need to be on a diet to want to eat the finished product.
Anthony Worrall Thompson’s recipes in his GI Diet book are indeed
special, not just for there low GI values, but also for how easy he
makes creating wonderful meals.

Worrall Thompson’s GI Diet, and a sample of how using some of these
recipes can help you stick to a low calorie, low GI diet, view our
